FencingSculptor is not surprisingly rather keen on fencing and sculpting.
I'm an easy going, enthusiastic, straight forward guy always up for a laugh. I'm into lots and lots of stuff. On the face of it my interests might seem a bit disparate but on the whole they do all link up on one level or another.
I love my sport (I'm a fencing coach) though on the whole I prefer solo sports rather than team sport, I like pushing myself quite hard constantly trying to push the boundries of my abilities.
I also love Art, I've been a sculptor for the past 10 years or more, I'm entirly self taught. I'm not bad but of late I've felt the need to up the stakes with my sculpting and have set myself the goal of working on very accurate liknesses of my subject. If I can master portrait sculpture then I might consider jacking in the day Job.
My day job is very dull, and on the whole has been for the last 14 years. But its secure and pays the mortgage so can't grumble too much.
I am fairly fanatical about Films and film making and it was my interest in Special Effects that started me sculpting. I also enjoy reading, astronomy and the outdoors. I love the outdoors and have been known to pack my rucksac and dissapear off into the nearest forest for a few days-a great way to unwind. I love trying new sports and activities, Kendo, Iaido, Kyaking, Scuba Diving, Climbing, I'll try anything - though fencing and sculpture are my favorite pastimes.
Spend my time doing gym training 3 days a week, fence 2 times a week, interspersed with a couple of swim sessions and weight training Happy to talk to anyone about anything or provide details of your local fencing clubs.
