This should raise SIGNIFICANTLY more and be purchased and kept for the nation in pride of place in the greenwich Maritme Museum or some such fitting place.....


British History seems to be worth less than a bloody second hand Landrover....

Please tell me they've missed a few 0s of the article...

If it doesn't get bought by either Greenwich, the Victory Trust or Chatham (where I beleive they have a sail from the battle), there is something wrong. At that price, they could afford it!

Since HMS Victory was built at Chatham....I think boat, sail and flag should all be reunited in the Medway Shipyard !
